In addition to being the Founder and Chairman of the Systems Plus Group, Nikunj co-founded the Sourcing Gurus brand in 2010. His vision was to build upon a rich Systems Plus history of successfully advising and leading Fortune 1000 customers in outsourcing engagements.

While Nikunj spends most of his time driving the strategic growth of both the Sourcing Gurus brand and the Systems Plus Group of companies, he also lends his expertise to select CIO and customer relationships – proving counsel and outsourcing strategy acquired during his 25 years in the outsourcing space.

Mike teamed up with Nikunj Jhaveri and the Systems Plus team to start the Sourcing Gurus brand in 2010. Building upon a rich Systems Plus history of advising customers on their outsourcing selections, Mike, Nikunj, and the Systems Plus team invented a software-as-a-service (SaaS) scorecard for measuring an outsourcing relationship. They later added services to support IT back-office functions and a vendor management system to support those services.

Mike’s background includes IT executive positions with various Fortune 500 companies and practice lead positions with IT Best Practice and Big 4 consulting companies. He utilizes this blend of customer and vendor to create a balanced approach to vendor relationship management. Our unique approach to vendor relationship management has been utilized by various companies, including: Michaels Stores, Collective Brands, and Guitar Center.

Michaels hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University and is a former Captain in the United States Air Force.
